Everycom NeoView Review: The Best Compact Home Cinema Projector with Ultra-Low Input Lag

Welcome back to the official Everycom channel and blog! For years, our Cubelite series played a huge role in bringing the dream of a true home cinema into everyday living rooms. We are proud of that legacy, but innovation never stops.

Today, we are thrilled to introduce our next-generation home projector: the Everycom NeoVue.

Whether you are looking for a lightweight home projector with auto keystone and obstacle avoidance or searching for the best 4K supported projector for gaming with low input lag, the NeoVue is engineered to deliver a seamless plug-and-play experience.

Unboxing & Design: Lightweight, Modern, and Practical

Opening the box, you get everything you need to start your movie night right away:

  • 1× Everycom NeoVue Projector

  • 1× Remote Control (with smart shortcut)

  • 1× Power Cable

  • 1× HDMI Cable

  • 1× User Manual

Compact & Portable Form Factor

The first thing you’ll notice when holding the NeoVue is its weight. Weighing just 2.55 kg, it is almost half the weight of the Cubelite Ultra, making it effortless to carry between the living room, bedroom, or outdoor backyard setup.

Its aesthetic features a clean white body paired with a subtle light-orange front accent—a sleek, modern look that easily complements any bookshelf or ceiling mount.

Versatile Connectivity Options

On the rear panel, the NeoView provides all essential ports for modern entertainment setups:

  • 2× HDMI Ports (ideal for connecting games consoles, streaming sticks, or laptops)

  • 1× USB Port

  • 1× 3.5mm Audio Jack

Smart Features That Solves Real-World Problems

1. Dedicated Remote Screen-Flip Button

If you’ve ever ceiling-mounted a projector upside down, you know the struggle: forgetting to adjust the image orientation beforehand means struggling with mirrored menus blindly or taking the unit down entirely.

The NeoVue solves this with a dedicated screen-flip shortcut button on the remote. One click instantly flips the screen—a small, thoughtful detail designed for real-world convenience.

2. Intelligent Auto Alignment Suite

  • Autofocus: Instantly sharpens the image without manual wheel adjustments.

  • Smart Keystone Correction: Supports both rapid auto-keystone and precise 4-point manual correction for off-angle projections.

  • Auto Screen Fit: Detects your screen edges automatically and resizes the image to fit perfectly.

  • Smart Obstacle Avoidance: Intelligently scans the wall for picture frames, wall switches, or shelves, automatically adjusting the projection size to avoid obstacles.

Picture Quality & Display Performance

Powered by Android 11 with 2GB RAM and 32GB Storage, the NeoVue offers a smooth smart OS experience with plenty of space for your favorite streaming apps.

  • Brightness: 1200 ANSI Lumens

  • Projection Size: 40 to 200 inches (Throw distance: 1.1m to 5.5m)

  • Image Clarity: Crisp native resolution with 4K 60fps playback support (e.g., YouTube 4K playback).

  • Color Tuning: Unlike competitors that push oversaturated, unnatural tones, the NeoVue focuses on natural color accuracy for comfortable, long-term viewing.

  • HDR & MEMC: Motion smoothing technology keeps fast-moving sports and action movies crisp and blur-free.

Gaming Performance: Under 20ms Input Lag

If you’re looking for a PS5-compatible gaming projector with under 20ms input lag, the NeoVue  stands out.

By activating the Dedicated Game Mode and connecting via HDMI:

  • Input Lag: Tested under 20 milliseconds.

  • Gaming Experience: Smooth 60fps response in fast-paced action and FPS titles with zero noticeable lag or image tearing.

Audio Performance & Power Consumption

  • Built-in Speakers: Dual 8W speakers with Dolby Audio Decoding.

(Note: While the NeoVue decodes Dolby Audio content smoothly, pairing it with an external Dolby Atmos soundbar is recommended for a full 360-degree cinema surround sound experience).

  • Energy Efficiency: Power consumption sits at around 121W at startup and stays at a reasonable 126W under heavy loads (4K playback at full volume).

Thermal Management & Usage Notice

To keep internal components safe, the NeoVue houses an active cooling system. During long movie marathons, the main exhaust zone on the left side of the unit can reach around 67.8°C (154°F).

💡 User Tip: This heat output is completely normal and shows that the internal cooling system is effectively displacing heat. However, always ensure good ventilation around the left exhaust and allow the unit to cool down before handling that specific side.
