How to connect a phone to a projector
Share
If you need to mirror your phone's screen to a projector, the first and most important step is to ensure that both your projector and your phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Next, I'll use our company's Cubelite projector as an example to guide you through the process.
Step-by-Step Guide:
-
Using the remote control, navigate to the projector's 'Apps' page.
-
From the list of applications, find and open Miracast. (Note: Miracast is the standard connection for most Android phones. For iPhones, you will need to use a different app or function, such as AirPlay or a dedicated casting app).
-
Next, on your Android phone, open the screen casting function. This is often called "Screen Mirroring," "Smart View," "Cast," or "Wireless Projection" and can usually be found in your phone's quick settings panel.
-
Your phone will begin searching for nearby devices. The projector's name or a numerical code should appear in the list.
-
Simply tap on the projector's name to connect.
And that's it! You have now very simply mirrored your phone's screen to the projector.
